Wayne Volunteers

The Office of Community Affairs alerts participants to opportunities in the community and on the campus to volunteer their time and services. If you are a faculty member, staff, alumni or student at Wayne State University and would like to join the Community Affairs volunteer network, 'Wayne Volunteers' , please e-mail the Office of Community Affairs at communityaffairs@wayne.edu. 

Past volunteer opportunities

Motor City Makeover Midtown V - The Office of Community Affairs and the UCCA joined together to help clean up midtown Detroit.  THe day was sunny and we had over 100 volunteers from Wayne and the community, including small business owners.  We collected over 200 bags of trash, 65 tires and provided students with 360 volunteer hours!

Detroit Festival of the Arts - June 8-10th - The Detroit Festival of the Arts is always looking for dedicated volunteers to fill a variety of postions.  Wayne State assisted with directional volunteering at information booths and more.
