Helping to build a successful community is part of Wayne State University’s urban mission. Lending helpful hands to uplift those in need is a critical building block. Now, Wayne Cares a recently established university outreach initiative brings together the many charitable organizations across Michigan and individuals and departments at the university.

Wayne Cares is a collaborative effort of the Office of Government and Community Affairs, the Office of the President and the University Activities Committee, and presents opportunities for all of us to assist community members who are in need.
