Detroit Festival of the ArtsTaking place on the streets of the Cultural Center and on Wayne State University's campus, the Detroit Festival of the Arts celebrates the arts and presents outstanding talent from around the world, while showcasing the city's premier cultural institutions clustered within its boundaries. Wayne State University and the University Cultural Center Association (UCCA) invite WSU students, faculty and employees to help us bring the fabulous Detroit Festival of the Arts to life by becoming a volunteer at this year's event. Positions range from assisting with children's activities to serving beverages to being an artist host. The Detroit Festival of the Arts requires hundreds of volunteers each year during festival weekend in order to keep this remarkable arts and cultural event free to the public. |
